Our Story
Kia ora, we’re Laura & Tom -
the new owners of Holy Guacamole food truck!
After 10 years of serving up delicious burritos at the Oakura foreshore, Cathi & Isaac have handed over the reigns — and we couldn’t be more excited!
Like the previous owners, we’re an Austrian-Kiwi duo with a shared love of surfing, sunshine, and (of course) mouth-watering Mexican food.
We met on a surf trip in Portugal back in 2018 (Tom paddled over to chat, and the rest is history). Over the last few years we’ve split our time between Austria and New Zealand, soaking up the best of both worlds – with a few surf trips to Indonesia thrown in whenever we can!
We can't wait to serve you all the flavours you know and love down at the beach, and to bring our own twist to the Holy Guacamole experience this Summer.
